Carbon Fiber Rebar (also known as CFRP Rebar) is an advanced composite material used as a reinforcement alternative to traditional steel rebar in concrete structures. Made from high-strength carbon fibers embedded in a polymer resin matrix, it offers exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties.

FEATURE
High Strength:
The strength of carbon fiber rebar is 8–15 times that of ordinary steel, with a tensile strength exceeding 3000 MPa. Its extremely high inherent strength effectively enhances the load-bearing capacity of structures.
Lightweight:
Its density is only 1/7 to 1/5 that of steel, and its weight is merely one-fifth of ordinary steel reinforcement. Using it in construction projects reduces the structural self-weight and facilitates transportation and construction.
Corrosion Resistance:
It exhibits excellent chemical corrosion resistance in harsh environments such as acid, alkali, salt, and humidity. It can effectively solve rust and aging problems caused by seawater immersion, harsh climates, etc., significantly extending the product’s full life cycle.
Fatigue Resistance:
Its fatigue resistance is significantly superior to that of steel reinforcement. The vibration attenuation performance of carbon fiber rebar is better than that of steel, resulting in better energy absorption and shock absorption effects, enabling it to withstand repeated load applications.
High Modulus:
It has a high elastic modulus, leading to minimal deformation under stress, which ensures the dimensional stability and precision of structures.

APPLICATION
Civil Engineering:
Used in the reinforcement, repair, and new construction of buildings. For example, it reinforces beams, columns, slabs, and other components of concrete structures to improve their load-bearing capacity and durability. It is also used in the construction of long-span bridges, such as main cables of suspension bridges and stay cables of cable-stayed bridges, which can enhance the load-bearing efficiency, span, and wind-rain vibration resistance of bridges.
Marine Engineering:
Suitable for building structures in marine environments, such as docks, breakwaters, and offshore platforms. It can resist seawater erosion and corrosion, extending the service life of structures.
Geotechnical Engineering:
Can be used as anchor rods in geotechnical anchoring projects to enhance the anchor rods’ resistance to external corrosion, improve the stability of geotechnical engineering, and effectively enhance the project’s resistance to geological disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, and mudslides.
Special Engineering:
In projects with special material performance requirements, such as nuclear power plants, high-voltage towers, and electromagnetic shielding facilities, the non-magnetic, non-conductive, and high-strength properties of carbon fiber rebar make it an ideal choice.
