UHMWPE UD Fabric is a high-performance composite reinforcement in which polyethylene fibers are arranged in a criss-cross (0°/90°) orientation and bonded with special adhesives. This unidirectional lay-up ensures that the fibers fully utilize their strength in both directions, providing superior energy absorption and shock resistance compared with conventional woven fabrics.
Thanks to its outstanding mechanical performance and lightweight characteristics, UHMWPE UD Fabric is widely recognized as one of the most ideal materials for advanced ballistic protection and impact-resistant composites.
