Carbon Fiber

Carbon Fiber Materials
High-performance carbon fiber materials designed to provide exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, stiffness, fatigue resistance, and lightweight performance for advanced composite applications.

Our carbon fiber range covers different fiber forms, grades, filament counts, and reinforcement architectures for composite manufacturing. These materials are suitable for applications requiring high mechanical performance, reduced weight, dimensional stability, and reliable structural performance.

Carbon fiber materials can be processed through manufacturing methods such as hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, resin transfer molding, filament winding, pultrusion, compression molding, and prepreg processing, depending on the specific material form and application. Carbon fiber tows are also widely converted into woven, braided, multiaxial, nonwoven, and other reinforcement formats.

Carbon Fiber Reinforcement for Advanced Composite Applications

Our Carbon Fiber portfolio provides a broad range of carbon fiber reinforcement materials for demanding structural and industrial applications. The product range can include carbon fiber tow and yarn, woven carbon fiber fabric, unidirectional and multiaxial carbon fiber fabrics, prepreg materials, carbon fiber sheet, and other carbon fiber-based reinforcement products.

Carbon fiber fabric is available in different weave architectures such as plain weave, twill, satin, unidirectional, and multiaxial constructions. These reinforcement forms allow engineers and composite manufacturers to select fiber orientation, areal weight, drapability, and laminate architecture according to part geometry and structural requirements.

Carbon fiber tow and yarn provide continuous-filament reinforcement for processes including weaving, braiding, filament winding, pultrusion, and other composite manufacturing methods. Common filament counts include 1K, 3K, 6K, 12K, and larger tow sizes, while different fiber grades can be selected according to required strength, modulus, processability, and application performance.

Carbon fiber prepreg combines carbon fiber reinforcement with a controlled resin system to provide a ready-to-process composite material for applications requiring precise fiber alignment, consistent resin content, high structural performance, and repeatable manufacturing.

Typical applications include aerospace structures, automotive components, marine structures, wind energy components, sporting goods, industrial equipment, robotics, drones, infrastructure strengthening, and other lightweight structural applications where high strength and stiffness are required.
